Good news for football fans in Togo! An agreement has been reached between the Togolese government and the LC2 Afnex group, granting TVT (public television) broadcasting rights for CAF competitions in Africa. This agreement covers various tournaments including the CAN, CHAN, Champions League, Super Cup, African youth championships, and Confederation Cup.
Previously, Togolese football enthusiasts had to wait until the last minute to know if TVT would broadcast these matches or resort to acquiring satellite dishes for access to Canal+ and other services.
Kouméalo Anaté, Togolese Minister of Communication, expressed the significance of football in society and the government’s desire to provide the population with the opportunity to enjoy these competitions. The contract was signed by Anaté, along with Finance Minister Adji Ayassor, and Christian Lagnindé, president of the LC2 group.
This agreement ensures that Togolese viewers will have access to live coverage of exciting football matches on TVT, enhancing the overall sports viewing experience in the country.
