Togo’s head coach, Tchanilé Tchakala, is set to unveil his squad ahead of the upcoming double-header against Uganda in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. According to a source close to the Togolese Football Federation, the team list will be released before Sunday.
The Hawks of Togo currently sit bottom of Group E with zero points, having lost their opening matches against Guinea (2-1) and Ghana (3-2). Led by captain Sheyi Emmanuel Adebayor, the team is eager to turn their campaign around with a strong performance against the Ugandan Cranes.
The two-legged tie will begin in Kampala on October 10, with the return leg scheduled four days later. With qualification hopes hanging in the balance, Togo will be determined to secure vital points and revive their chances of reaching the finals in Morocco next year.
