Togo – FTF: INFA of Tové Hosts the Extraordinary Congress

FTF Extraordinary Congress Set for November 4 in Tové to Elect Electoral Bodies

The Togolese Football Federation (FTF) has announced that its Extraordinary Congress will be held on November 4 at the INFA in Tové, Kpalimé. The primary purpose of the meeting is the election of the Independent Electoral Commission, as confirmed in an official statement from the federation.

Following discussions with FIFA and the subsequent approval of the Electoral Code by the FTF Executive Board, the congress is now set to proceed. Invitations have already been sent out to all relevant members.

“After the approval of the Electoral Code by the FTF Executive Board following discussions with FIFA regarding this code and the timetable, we are able to say today that this extraordinary congress will take place. And the city chosen is none other than Kpalimé, more precisely the INFA of Tové,”

A General Assembly is scheduled for December 4, one month after the Electoral Commission is formed.

  2. Roll call of delegates

  3. Verification of the convocation and Congress composition in line with statutes

  4. Appointment of three members to verify the minutes

  5. Appointment of scrutineers

  6. Address by the FTF President

  7. Election of the President and members of the Independent Electoral Commission

  8. Election of the President and members of the Electoral Appeals Commission

  9. Miscellaneous

This meeting marks a key step in advancing the FTF’s electoral process and ensuring transparency in its governance reforms.
