Togolese left-back Moutaka Agodomou has reaffirmed his ambition to rejoin the national team setup while actively seeking a new club in Europe.
In an interview with Voxstadium, the 26-year-old, currently a free agent following the end of his contract with Ivorian side Stella Club d’Adjamé, said he remains committed to the Hawks. “The whole team welcomed me. I really felt like I was part of the family, despite the presence of great players,” he recalled of his first call-up during the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Gabon.
Agodomou, a former ASEC Mimosas player, remains hopeful of securing a move abroad. “From now on, I’m aiming for Europe, but everything will depend on the offers I receive. In any case, I have an agent who is fighting to find something better than the Ivory Coast,” he explained.
The defender also revealed he previously missed out on a potential transfer to Sweden due to visa complications.
With Togo set to enter a new competitive cycle, Agodomou’s next move could be key to reviving his international prospects.
