The new football season in Togo is set to commence on May 3, marking the return of elite division teams to the playing fields for the championship.
This decision was reached by the executive office of the Togolese Football Federation, following discussions with the Ministry of Sports, and accepting that the championship will be played with 12 clubs.
Before the start of the new season, club presidents will convene with the FTF office to discuss the arrangements for the startup. This meeting is scheduled for Friday, April 17, at 9 a.m. at the FTF headquarters.
The reigning champion, Anges de Notsé, and AS Douanes de Lomé, who participated in the second round of the CAF Cup, are considered favorites for the upcoming season.
