A consensus has been reached between the Executive Office of the Togolese Football Federation, the presidents of 1st division clubs, and those of the Togo Leagues regarding the start of the national football championship scheduled for May 4. The decision was made in a meeting held at the federation’s headquarters. Despite some clubs initially requesting a postponement, all but one (Semassi) were present at the session. The clubs have agreed to the start date, and preparations for the opening matches are underway.
