Togo coach Patrice Neveu unveil squad for Guinea and Niger friendlies
Togo is gearing up for a challenging international tournament in Morocco, where they will face Guinea and Niger in a double-header during the next FIFA window.
The West African outfit is scheduled to face Guinea on March 27, 2026 in Rabat, followed by a second fixture against Niger on March 31 in Casablanca.
Ahead of this international camp, Neveu has released a list of provisionally selected players who will participate in the training sessions in Morocco.
The final squad is expected to be confirmed in the coming days, with players in the provisional list competing for a place in the starting lineup.
Neveu has highlighted that the primary goal of the Morocco camp is to integrate new talents into the national setup while building cohesion within the team. He stressed the importance of using these friendlies to evaluate tactical systems, assess player performances, and lay the foundation for Togo’s future competitive campaigns.
“These matches are essential for our preparation,” Neveu said. “We want to build a strong team spirit and test our strategies against quality opponents. The players called up have a chance to show what they can offer for Togo’s future.”
The Éperviers will travel to Morocco with the dual aim of gaining competitive experience and achieving positive results, with the coaching staff confident that the blend of experienced internationals and young talents will deliver promising performances against Guinea and Niger.
This tournament marks the beginning of Neveu’s tenure, and fans will be eagerly watching to see how the new coach’s approach impacts Togo’s performance on the continental stage
