Anzhi Makhachkala striker Samuel Eto’o has been included in the Cameroon national team’s squad by coach Jean Paul Akono for the World Cup qualifier against Togo on March 23. Eto’o, who had been critical of the Cameroonian football federation (Facefoot) and expressed doubt about Cameroon’s chances against Togo, was initially uncertain about participating in the match. The Togo national team’s final list, led by coach Didier Six, is yet to be published, but sources suggest the absence of Adebayor Sheyi and Agassa Kossi from the squad. The list of 24 players called up for Cameroon includes Charles Itandje, Nicolas Nkoulou, Alexandre Song, and Samuel Eto’o.
