Togo begin CAN 2027 qualifying camp ahead of Burundi and Zambia fixtures

Togo have opened their preparations for the CAN 2027 qualifiers, with the national team assembling in Lome on Monday 21 September.

The first day began with medical treatment and work in the gym before Patrice Neveu took the squad through a closed training session at 16:00 at Stade de Kegue.

A first group of 12 players has arrived at the team’s base, including Steven Mensah, Dermane Karim, Yaw Annor and Gustave Akueson. More players are expected to join in the coming hours as the squad builds towards full strength and the coaching staff finalise their tactical preparations.

The Eperviers will start their qualifying campaign at home against Burundi on Friday 25 September. The match is scheduled for 16:00 at Kegue.

Togo will then travel to Ndola to face Zambia’s Chipolopolo on Monday 29 September.
