Togo begin 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying with narrow Burundi win

Togo opened their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign with a 1-0 victory over Burundi at Stade de Kegue.

Karim Dermane’s first-half goal was enough to secure all three points for the Eperviers, who produced a disciplined and united display in front of a passionate home crowd.
