FIFA (International Federation of Association Football) and caf (Confederation of African Football) are set to meet Togolese football officials in Lomé on Thursday. The composite delegation includes Prosper Abéga, technical advisor to the president of CAF, Issa Hayatou, as well as Cyril Loisel and Jean-Michel Benezet from the FIFA Development Department.
The primary focus of this mission is to discuss the sustainability of the Goal and PAF projects, which are FIFA financial assistance programs granted to the Togolese Football Federation (FTF). Concerns about the management of these funds have prompted an audit by FIFA, and during this meeting, supporting documents for fund expenditures are expected to be provided before a full resumption of assistance.
