English-Nigerian centre-back Tobi Omole has joined Walton & Hersham from Tonbridge on a free transfer.

The 26-year-old completed the move on 5 August 2026, switching between two National League South clubs. Omole is a left-footed defender who stands 1.89m tall and adds experience in the English football pyramid to the Walton & Hersham squad.

Omole joined Tonbridge in October 2025 after a spell without a club. His arrival at Walton & Hersham marks his latest move in a career that has included appearances in the National League South, National League and League Two.

He has made 19 National League South appearances during his career, as well as three in the National League and five in League Two. He also registered 10 appearances in the EFL Trophy and featured twice in the EFL Cup.

The defender began his development at Arsenal, progressing from the club’s youth setup to its under-18 and under-23 teams. He moved to Tottenham’s under-23 side in October 2020 before joining Crawley Town in July 2022 on a free transfer.

Omole made five League Two appearances during his time with Crawley and also played in the National League South. He left the club in July 2024 and subsequently spent time with Wealdstone before joining Tonbridge.

Born in London, Omole is eligible to represent both England and Nigeria. His playing background includes 52 appearances in Premier League 2 and 30 in the Under-18 Premier League, competitions in which he scored four goals and provided two assists combined.

At Walton & Hersham, Omole will continue in the National League South after leaving Tonbridge. The move is his first recorded transfer of the 2026-27 season and brings the defender to his latest club after a free transfer.
