Tim Sherwood has been confirmed as the new manager of Tottenham Hotspur until the end of the 2014-2015 season. Sherwood, who took over as interim manager after the departure of André Villas-Boas, received praise from striker Emmanuel Adebayor, who thanked Sherwood for giving him a chance. Sherwood, in turn, expressed his confidence in Adebayor, stating that it was not difficult for the striker to find motivation, and they have a good working relationship. Sherwood has now been officially appointed as the head coach of Tottenham Hotspur, and his contract extends until the end of the 2014-2015 season.
