Tiécoro Keita, the young Malian player from En Avant Guingamp, could potentially make a move to the National league this winter, with Vannes being a likely destination. After an unsuccessful trial with Carquefou last month, Keita underwent testing with Vannes earlier this week.
The decision on whether Vannes will offer a contract to the promising young player now rests on coach Thierry Froger, who has expressed interest in Keita’s profile. However, Froger noted that the trial period was brief, saying, “This is the type of player we’re looking for, but the trial was very short.”
During his time with Vannes, the 19-year-old Malian participated in training sessions on Monday and Tuesday. Since June 2012, Keita has been part of the En Avant de Guingamp CFA2 team. Although too young to compete in Ligue 2, he has gained valuable experience playing with the reserves.
