The battle for promotion to the top flight has officially concluded, with three clubs confirming their places in the 2026–2027 season of the Egyptian Premier League following the final rounds of the second-tier competition.

Al Qanah SC were the first to secure their place in the top division after finishing top of the standings with a dominant 72 points, sealing an impressive campaign that saw them set the pace from early in the season.

They were later joined by Petrojet SC, who confirmed their promotion after a strong and consistent run. Petrojet had already reached the required threshold in the previous round after a draw with El Mansoura SC, and later strengthened their achievement with a convincing win over Baladeyet El Mahalla SC. The result took them to 60 points, securing second place in the standings.

The final promotion spot went to Abu Qir Fertilizers SC, who completed the trio of promoted teams after a decisive 3–0 victory over Raya SC in the 34th round. The win lifted them to 58 points, enough to confirm third place and guarantee their historic rise to the top tier.

Abu Qir Fertilizers’ campaign has been defined by consistency and strong defensive performances, with their final-day victory reflecting the composure that carried them through the season’s decisive stages.

With Petrojet and Abu Qir Fertilizers joining Al Qanah, the promotion picture is now complete, bringing an end to a tightly contested campaign in Egypt’s second division.

Attention now turns to how the promoted sides will prepare for life in the top flight, where they will face some of the country’s most established clubs in the upcoming season.
