Three African stars named in French Ligue 1 Team of the Season

Three African players have been recognised for their outstanding performances in French football after being named in the Ligue 1 Team of the Season.

Achraf Hakimi of Morocco, Mamadou Sangaré of Mali, and Malang Sarr of Senegal were all included among the league’s best performers for the campaign, underlining the growing influence of African talent in one of Europe’s top five leagues.
