Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has disclosed that Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey is all geared up for the crucial second leg meeting with Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.
The Gunners will play as guests to Los Blancos tomorrow for their quarter-final second leg encounter.
Initially, Thomas Partey was a doubt for the game due to a knock he picked up during Arsenal’s game against Brentford in the English Premier League on Saturday.
However, speaking at his pre-match press conference today, Arteta said Thomas Partey is fine and looking forward to the game.
“Yeah, Thomas Partey is available. He felt good after the last few days, and he’s fine,” Mikel Arteta stated.
Thomas Partey impressed with his performance in the first leg of the tie against Real Madrid, bossing the midfield to guide his team to secure a 3-0 win.
He will be expected to play another key role for the Gunners tomorrow as the team eyes advancement into the semi-finals.
