Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has tagged the 2024/25 football season as Thomas Partey’s best season at the club.
The Ghana midfield dynamo signed for the English Premier League club in 2020 in a big-money move from Spanish La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid.
In his first four seasons, Thomas Partey suffered major injuries that forced him to miss several matches in various competitions.
This season, however, Thomas Partey has been fortunate to stay fit and has played over 45 matches for Arsenal in all competitions.
Based on his consistency in Arsenal colours this season, Mikel Arteta believes the 2024/25 football season has been Thomas Partey’s best season at the club.
“In regards to Thomas, consistency-wise, it’s been his best season. I think the way he’s played, performed, his availability has been exceptional, and he’s a really important player for us,” Arteta is quoted by The Telegraph when asked if Partey wants to remain at the club.
It is understood that Arsenal plans to extend Thomas Partey’s contract to keep him at the club for at least next season.
