Thiemoko Diarra: Kasimpasa eye move for Mali and Stade Reims winger

Mali right winger Thiemoko Diarra of Stade Reims is being linked with a move to Turkish Süper Lig side Kasimpasa, with the 23-year-old’s future in France increasingly uncertain.

Diarra, born in Bamako on 19 April 2003, currently plays for Reims in Ligue 2 and wears the No 7 shirt. Transfermarkt lists his market value at €1.50m, a relatively modest figure that could encourage Kasimpasa to firm up their interest as they assess wide options for next season. The reported probability of a deal remains unclear, with the move rated simply as “?” at this stage and no indication yet of an agreed fee.

The winger’s contract situation at Reims is not publicly defined, with no recorded expiry date, which has fuelled speculation that he could become available on favourable terms, or even move on as a potential free agent if his agreement is running down. There is, however, no confirmation that his contract has expired.

Standing at 1.76m and preferring his right foot, Diarra is listed primarily as an attacking right winger but is viewed as a versatile forward option. He has spent his senior club career with Reims, working his way through the French system, and now operates in Ligue 2 after the club’s relegation.

In his most recent outing for Reims, Diarra featured on the right flank in a Ligue 2 fixture earlier this month, offering direct running and width in a tight encounter, though he did not register a goal or assist as Reims were held in a low-scoring match.

With his value relatively low and his next contract still to be clarified, a switch to Istanbul could present Diarra with a first move outside France – and, if the transfer materialises, it may prove a pivotal step in shaping both his reputation in Europe and his long‑term career trajectory.
