The numbers behind Ansu Fati’s career slump at Barcelona

Ansu Fati Se Queda Sin Su Mejor Pretendiente Para Dejar El Barcelona

Ansu Fati’s football career at FC Barcelona appears to be on a steep decline, with the once-promising star now struggling to secure a place in the matchday squad.

Once hailed as the club’s golden boy and the heir to Lionel Messi’s legacy, the Guinea-Bissau-born youngster’s current situation paints a starkly different picture.

After inheriting the iconic number 10 shirt, Fati now finds himself on the sidelines more often than on the pitch.

This season has been particularly difficult, as the young forward has played in just 8 of Barcelona’s 35 matches so far.

Despite missing 10 games due to injury, Fati has been excluded from the matchday squad on six occasions even when fully fit to play.

In terms of playing time, Fati has only managed 186 minutes out of a possible 3,150 this season.

His struggles are further compounded by the fact that he has not scored or recorded an assist in over a year, a poor run that dates back to last season.

Many believe Fati should have sought a move during the January transfer window, as his limited opportunities at Barcelona continue to hinder his development and jeopardize his once-bright career trajectory.
