According to Ndongo Ndiaye, the sports advisor to the President of Senegal, the stadium will be renovated and turned into a sports complex. The project includes the construction of new infrastructures to facilitate the practice of various sports and the addition of a 4-star hotel. The renovation plans aim to enhance the stadium’s facilities and contribute to the development of sports in the region.
