Paris Saint-Germain officially announced the arrival of Laurent Blanc as the coach last Tuesday. The former French national team coach signed a two-year contract with the capital club.
For the next two seasons, Blanc is set to receive a significant salary, reportedly reaching 250,000 euros net per month, according to the sports daily L’Equipe. However, this amount is only half of what his predecessor, Carlo Ancelotti, earned. Ancelotti received 500,000 euros per month during his tenure at PSG.
Blanc’s annual salary at PSG is estimated to be around €3 million, considerably less than Ancelotti’s 5.9 million euros. Ancelotti, who has since been presented as the new coach of Real Madrid, is expected to see a further increase in his salary, with reports indicating he will receive €7.5 million per year with the Merengues.
