‘Thank you for everything’ – Nordin Amrabat bids farewell to sacked Wydad AC coach Amine Benhachem
Moroccan midfielder Nordin Amrabat has paid tribute to former Wydad AC head coach Mohamed Amine Benhachem following his departure from the club.
The Wydad captain shared a heartfelt message after the club confirmed its decision to part ways with Benhachem by mutual consent, a move that came in the wake of the team’s exit from the CAF Confederation Cup.
Taking to Instagram, Amrabat expressed his appreciation for the outgoing coach, writing, “Thank you for everything, Coach, and may God make things easy for you.”
Wydad Athletic Club officially announced the termination of Benhachem’s contract, bringing his tenure with the first team to an end.
In its statement, the club acknowledged his efforts and contributions during his time in charge, while extending its best wishes for his future career.
The departure marks the end of a challenging chapter for the Red Team, as they now look ahead to rebuilding following their continental setback.
