Thailand-Libya forward Abdulrahman Essadi brings free-transfer move to Lamphun Warrior

Thailand-Libya forward Abdulrahman Essadi has joined Lamphun Warrior from Police Tero FC on a free transfer, adding a 23-year-old centre-forward to the Thai League club’s squad.

Essadi completed the move on 12 August 2026 and has agreed a contract with Lamphun Warrior running until 30 June 2027. The transfer follows his departure from Police Tero, where he spent the previous two seasons after joining from Prime Bangkok in July 2024.

The striker made 41 appearances in the Thai League 2 during his time at Police Tero, scoring six goals and providing two assists. He also featured in the Thai FA Cup, Thai Cup and Thai League 2 Playoffs, giving him experience across domestic competitions before moving to a Thai League side.

Essadi’s switch comes just three days after Police Tero recorded his transfer to Kasetsart FC, also on a free transfer. His subsequent move to Lamphun Warrior has taken him into the top division, with the club securing his services without a fee.

Born on 29 June 2003, Essadi holds Thai and Libyan nationality. He is listed at 1.80m and operates primarily through the centre of the attack. The right-footed forward’s record in the Thai League 2 included a goal every 184 minutes across 1,105 minutes on the pitch.

His competitive record also includes 241 minutes in six Thai FA Cup appearances, 224 minutes from three Thai Cup matches and 15 minutes in two playoff appearances. The figures represent his domestic playing record before the move to Lamphun Warrior.

Essadi began his senior club career with Prime Bangkok before making the free-transfer move to Police Tero in 2024. After two years with Police Tero and a brief spell registered with Kasetsart, he has now secured a contract with Lamphun Warrior through the end of June 2027.

The completed transfer gives Lamphun Warrior a forward with experience in Thailand’s second tier and a record of six league goals before stepping up to the Thai League.
