Danish teenager with Nigerian roots, Chido-Obi Martin, could soon get a chance to showcase his talent with Manchester United’s first team, according to reports.
The 17-year-old forward, currently starring for the club’s Under-18 side, has been in sensational form since joining from Arsenal in the summer, netting nine goals in just eight appearances.
His impressive performances have not gone unnoticed, with The Mail reporting that he is now being considered for a first-team opportunity.
With United struggling for goals, manager Ruben Amorim is looking at in-house solutions to bolster the attack, and Obi-Martin has been training with the senior squad to assess his readiness for the big stage.
Should he seize the opportunity, the young forward could carve out a regular role, particularly with speculation surrounding the futures of wingers Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho.
