Teenage Hadebe has been suspended from the Zimbabwe national team camp and will miss the final of the Mukuru Four Nations Tournament against Zambia after breaching the squad’s code of conduct.

The decision was confirmed by Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) in an official statement, which announced disciplinary action against the defender.

While the governing body did not disclose specific details of the incident, it stated that the sanction had been applied in line with team regulations.

“The Zimbabwe Football Association confirms that Warriors defender Teenage Hadebe has been suspended from the squad for breaching the code of conduct. As a result, disciplinary action has been taken in accordance with team rules.

Teenage Hadebe is suspended for one match and will miss the final of the Mukuru Four Nations Tournament against Zambia.

The player has apologized to the team and the federation. He has accepted the disciplinary action,” ZIFA wrote.

Hadebe’s absence comes at a crucial moment for the Warriors, who are preparing for the decisive fixture in the four-team competition. His suspension means Zimbabwe will be without one of their defensive options as they aim to secure victory in the final.

The development also highlights the federation’s firm stance on discipline within the national team setup. By enforcing the code of conduct, ZIFA has signalled its commitment to maintaining standards within the squad, regardless of the player involved.

Despite the setback, the player has acknowledged his mistake, issuing an apology to both his teammates and the federation.

His acceptance of the sanction brings the matter to a close, allowing the team to refocus on their upcoming match.

Zimbabwe will now turn their full attention to the final against Zambia, where the Warriors will look to overcome the absence of Hadebe and deliver a strong performance on the pitch.
