Jordanian national team coach Hussein Amotta expressed his jubilation after defeating South Korea 2-0 and securing a spot in the final of the Asian Cup, stating that he is the happiest coach on the continent and in the world.
Speaking to the media following Jordan’s victory over South Korea in the semi-final of the Asian Cup, Amotta emphasized that “teamwork is the foundation of reaching the final.”
The captain of “Al-Nashama” stressed that the win against Korea was not easy, adding that “achievements are not attained easily.”
“We believed in our chances, and we emphasized to the players not to respect the opponent too much.
I thank everyone who contributed to this achievement,” he continued.
“I hope that our efforts will culminate in winning the Asian Cup, completing the joy of the Jordanian people,” he added.
It is worth noting that the Jordanian national team has advanced to the final for the first time in its history.
They will face the winner of the other semi-final match between Qatar, the defending champion and tournament host, and Iran.
