Tawfik Bentayeb: Olympiacos eye move for Moroccan Union Touarga striker

Moroccan centre-forward Tawfik Bentayeb of Union Touarga is being linked with a move to Greek giants Olympiacos as the Piraeus club explore options to strengthen their attack ahead of the new Super League 1 campaign. The 24-year-old, currently playing in Morocco’s Botola Pro Inwi, has emerged as a summer target after a prolific season in front of goal.

Bentayeb’s performances for Union Touarga in the 2025-26 campaign have drawn attention across Europe, with the Casablanca-born forward finishing as top goal scorer in Ligue 2 with 18 goals. His form has coincided with a reported valuation of around €8 million, a figure that would represent a significant outlay but remains within range for Olympiacos if they decide to formalise their interest.

A left-footed centre-forward standing at 1.80m, Bentayeb has been with Union Touarga since joining the club in September 2021 and has developed into a key attacking reference point.
