Moroccan coach Tarik Sektioui has declared his ambition to guide his team to the 2025 Arab Cup title, set to take place in Qatar later this year.
Riding high from Morocco’s historic third CHAN victory, Sektioui emphasized that the squad’s confidence and determination have grown, with players eager to make their mark on the Arab stage.
“The ambition is clear,” Sektioui said, noting that the players’ hunger for success has only intensified.
He added that competing in Qatar will demand consistency, resilience, and the same collective spirit that propelled Morocco to CHAN glory.
Morocco’s delegation returned home on Sunday from Nairobi, celebrating the historic achievement that places Sektioui alongside former CHAN-winning coaches Jamal Sellami and Houcine Ammouta.
The triumph not only reinforced Morocco’s dominance in the competition but also set the tone for the team’s next challenge.
The Moroccan squad will face Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Palestine in Group C, with Sektioui confident that his side can translate their recent success into another continental title.
