The former assistant trainer of Mamelodi Sundowns joins the Tanzanian powerhouse as a replacement for Miloud Hamdi, who has moved to Egyptian Premier League side Ismaily.
He recently wrapped up a short stint in Algeria with Olympique Akbou, where he helped steer the relegation-threatened side to safety in just eight games
Folz now embarks on a new leadership role on the African continent, marking the next exciting chapter in his coaching career.

The 35-year-old young tactician is no stranger to the African football, having had spells with Guinea giants Horoya AC, South African clubs, Marumo Gallants, and AmaZulu FC.
In addition, Folz has managed two clubs in Ghana including Ashantigold FC (defunct) and Bechem United.
