Taha Majni: Raja Casablanca eye move for Morocco Under-18 centre-back from Union Touarga

Moroccan defender Taha Majni of Union Touarga is being linked with a move to Raja Casablanca as the Botola Pro Inwi giants assess defensive options for the new campaign.

The 18-year-old centre-back, who plays primarily on the right side of central defence, has emerged as a potential target for Raja after establishing himself at Union Touarga, where he wears the No 25 shirt. Any deal is expected to reflect his current valuation of around €500,000, with Raja considering whether to invest in a player regarded as a longer-term solution at the heart of their back line.

Majni, born on 11 October 2007 and standing at 1.87m, has been with Union Touarga since joining the club in July 2025 and is viewed internally as a key asset, particularly given his age and profile. His progress in the top flight has alerted several observers within the domestic game, with Raja now weighing up a formal approach.

Union Touarga face a decision over whether to cash in on the right-footed defender, who does not have a clearly defined contract end date publicly known, potentially giving the club greater leverage in any negotiations. For Raja, the attraction lies in adding a physically imposing centre-back already accustomed to the demands of Botola Pro Inwi.
