The Senegalese national technical director of taekwondo, Me Amadou Sy, has expressed concerns about the participation of the Senegalese women’s taekwondo team in the upcoming world championships. Despite winning gold at the African Championships, the team did not give complete satisfaction, according to Sy. He mentioned a great risk of spending money for nothing and suggested that it might be preferable to postpone participation in the world championships to better prepare for future competitions. The women’s taekwondo world championships are scheduled to take place in Aruba on November 24 and 25.
