Sylver Ouangala returns to CPB Brequigny after free transfer from Fougeres
France and Central African Republic forward Sylver Ouangala has returned to CPB Brequigny, completing a free transfer from Fougeres.
The 25-year-old centre-forward rejoined the French club on 21 August 2026, having left CPB Brequigny for Fougeres just over a year earlier. His move back represents a return to a club he previously played for during the 2024-25 campaign.
Ouangala made 23 appearances across National 2 – Group C and the Coupe de France during the recorded campaign, scoring twice. He found the net once in 20 league appearances and once in three cup matches.
Born in Bangui, Ouangala holds French and Central African Republic nationality. He has spent his career in French football, with his latest switch continuing a series of free transfers between clubs.
Before joining Fougeres, he moved to CPB Brequigny from Guipry-Messac in July 2024. His earlier career included spells with Guipry-Messac, Cadets de Bains and Dinan-Lehon B, all of which he joined without a transfer fee.
Ouangala’s return gives CPB Brequigny an established centre-forward who already has previous experience with the club. His earlier spell followed a move from Guipry-Messac, while his departure for Fougeres in July 2025 was also completed without a fee.
The forward’s career record includes appearances in both National 2 and the Coupe de France, with his two goals coming across those competitions. He now switches back to CPB Brequigny after one season at Fougeres.
Ouangala has joined CPB Brequigny from Fougeres on a free transfer dated 21 August 2026.
