Egyptian powerhouse Zamalek in search of a new coach following the departure of Portuguese gaffer Jose Gomez.
The 54-year-old tactician suddenly resign from his role as head coach of reigning CAF Confederation Cup holders.
According to sources, Swiss manager Christian Gross is one of the contenders for the coaching role, which became available following Gomez exit.
Zamalek are said to have reached out to Gross as they seek to secure his services for the vacant role.
The Egyptian outfit are preparing to face Al-Masry in the Premier League on Sunday before their third Confederation Cup game.
