Swiss Super League side Grasshoppers are interested in signing Tanzanian youngster Nestory Irankunda.
As confirmed by Africasoccer last week, the 19-year-old Bayern Munich attacker is set for another loan spell rather than a promotion to the first team.
Although Bayern remain committed to the young forward they signed from Adelaide United in the summer of 2023, a sale is currently not on the table.
The promising attacker, who is under contract until 2028, is still viewed as a long-term prospect.
However, new head coach Vincent Kompany does not plan to include him in the senior squad for the upcoming season.
The Australian U21 international, who can play on the wings or in a central attacking role, is expected to gain more experience and match practice elsewhere.
Today, the latest information gathered indicates that Grasshoppers are among the clubs looking at signing Nestory Irankunda on loan this summer.
Austrian side Rapid Vienna are also keeping tabs on the forward and will try to sign the pacey forward.
