Rami Kaib is edging closer to a permanent move to Halmstads BK, with advanced negotiations ongoing between the club and IF Elfsborg during the current transfer window.
Discussions between the two Swedish sides have intensified in recent days as Halmstads BK seek to secure the left-back on a long-term basis, following his successful loan spell in the second half of last season.
While no final agreement has yet been announced, talks are understood to be entering a decisive phase.
The 28-year-old is already a familiar figure at Halmstads BK, having spent several months at the club on loan.
During that period, he made around ten appearances across all competitions and quickly established himself as a reliable option on the left side of defence.

Kaib remains under contract with IF Elfsborg until 31 December 2026 and is currently part of the squad taking part in pre-season preparations in Spain.
