Helsingborg’s Atakora Lalawelé Returns to Training Ahead of Schedule
There’s good news for Helsingborg supporters: Togolese forward Atakora Lalawelé has resumed training, participating in Thursday’s session with the reserves. This marks a faster-than-expected recovery from the left knee injury that initially ruled him out for around 10 days.
Though Lalawelé will miss the 7th matchday clash against GIF Sundsvall, his early return is a welcome relief for the technical staff. Ghanaian Boateng is expected to fill in during his absence.
The 24-year-old expressed optimism and determination:
“I’m happy to be able to return to the pitch very early. I was told it would take 10 days, but I’m already here. I believe that next Sunday, I’ll help my club win. I’ve set myself goals this season: to score lots of goals, provide assists, and also contribute to my club’s success at the end of the championship.”
So far this season, Lalawelé has 2 goals and 1 assist in five matches. His quick recovery and form will be crucial as Helsingborg aims to climb the Allsvenskan table.
