Good news for Swansea as Wilfried Bony’s injury is less severe than initially feared. After a scan, it was revealed that Bony has a hamstring problem and will require 10 days of rest. This means he will be available for Swansea in time for the December fixtures, including the traditional “Boxing day” with six matches scheduled in two weeks. On the other hand, defender Angel Rangel, who was also injured in the Europa League match against Valencia, will be out for at least 3 weeks.
