Sudanese referee to officiate African Cup of Nations semi-finals today

In the high-stakes semi-final clashes of the African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast today, Sudanese international referee Mahmoud Shantir will serve as the fourth official for the match between Nigeria and South Africa.

The game will be overseen by an Egyptian officiating crew led by international referee Amin Omar at 7:00 PM local time on Wednesday.

Additionally, international referee Mohamed Abdullah Nyala will be part of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) team for the match between Ivory Coast and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
