Sudan have lined up a friendly against the Oman national team ahead of their 2026 World Cup qualifying matches next week.
The Falcons of Jediane will face Senegal on March 18 before taking on South Sudan on March 24 in the fifth and sixth rounds of the qualifiers in Group B.
Sudan has been in Saudi Arabia for the past few days preparing for the two crucial qualifying matches.
And as part of preparations, the Falcons of Jediane has lined up a friendly match against Oman, to be held at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex Stadium in Bousher on Thursday.
The match will serve as a platform for Sudan technical team to test the strength of their players before the qualifiers.
For Oman, coach Rashid Jaber will use the matches to prepare for their games 2026 World Cup qualification matches against South Korea and Kuwait on March 20 and 25, in Seoul and Kuwait.
The Falcons of Jediane currently sit top of Group B with 10 points following their impressive performance in the initial four matches.
