El Merrick’s victory marks their nineteenth national title, and both El Merrick and Al Hillal will represent Sudan in the African Champions League next season. At the bottom of the ranking, Al-Mourada, the 1968 Champion Clubs’ Cup winner, is relegated for the first time in its history.
