VfB Stuttgart have officially completed the permanent signing of Moroccan attacking midfielder Bilal El Khannouss following his successful loan spell from Leicester City.

The agreement confirms that the 22-year-old will remain in Stuttgart on a long-term basis after impressing throughout his first season in the Bundesliga.

El Khannouss enjoyed a standout campaign, making 41 competitive appearances for Stuttgart.

He registered nine goals and seven assists, quickly establishing himself as one of the club’s most influential attacking players.

His performances also earned him a place in Morocco’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, further highlighting his rapid rise on the international stage.

Stuttgart sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth praised the midfielder’s impact and potential for further growth at the club.

He noted that El Khannouss had delivered consistent performances across all competitions while still having room to develop even further in the coming seasons.

The Moroccan international began his career at Anderlecht before moving to KRC Genk, where he continued his development.
