Emanuel Emegha has cemented his place among the top scorers in Ligue 1 after finding the net once again on Friday evening.
The Dutch forward, who also holds Togolese and Nigerian heritage, played a crucial role in Strasbourg’s latest triumph in the French top flight.
His goal, the third of the match, helped secure a significant victory over Olympique Lyonnais.
Emegha’s latest strike takes his tally to 12 goals in Ligue 1 this season. He now sits among the league’s top five scorers, with only Bradley Barcola (13), Jonathan David (14), Mason Greenwood (15), and Ousmane Dembélé (21) having scored more.
This crucial win has boosted Strasbourg’s league position, pushing them ahead of Lyon in the standings. With this result, the club now holds fifth place in Ligue 1, further strengthening their ambitions for the season.
