Strasbourg eye Chelsea centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo in Ligue 1 move
England-Nigeria centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo is reportedly a target for Chelsea, with Ligue 1 club Strasbourg linked with a move for the 28-year-old.
Adarabioyo joined Chelsea from Fulham on a free transfer in July 2024 and remains under contract at Stamford Bridge until 30 June 2028. His current market value is listed at €16m, although no asking price or probability has been attached to the reported move.
The London-born defender has won the FIFA Club World Cup and the Conference League with Chelsea. He was also part of the side that finished as FA Cup runners-up in the 2025-26 season, scoring twice in the competition.
Adarabioyo has made 116 Premier League appearances during his senior career, scoring four goals and providing one assist. He previously helped Fulham win the Championship and secure promotion to the Premier League in 2021-22 before moving to Chelsea.
The reported interest would see Adarabioyo move from the Premier League to France, but there is no indication that an agreement has been reached between the clubs or with the player. Chelsea’s listed contractual position leaves the defender tied to the club for two more seasons beyond the current campaign.
