Steven N’Zonzi, the French international of Congolese descent, may be on the verge of departing from Stoke City. Despite Stoke’s initial refusal to entertain his departure request, N’Zonzi could be on his way to Crystal Palace.
Stoke City comfortably secured their Premier League status without much trouble, with N’Zonzi playing a significant role since his arrival at Brittania Stadium from Blackburn in 2012. However, it seems his time with the Potters may be drawing to a close. According to reports from the British daily The Mirror, N’Zonzi is currently engaged in advanced discussions with Crystal Palace. If the transfer goes through, the 25-year-old midfielder will reunite with his former manager Tony Pulis at the Eagles.
N’Zonzi has amassed 120 appearances and scored 6 goals in the English top-flight league.
