Steven Oyirwoth: Ugandan teenager joins North Carolina from KCCA FC on free transfer

Uganda centre-back Steven Oyirwoth has joined North Carolina from KCCA FC on a free transfer, completing an international move at the age of 16.

Oyirwoth leaves KCCA after playing in the Uganda Premier League and will now continue his career with North Carolina in the United States. The transfer was completed on 1 August 2026.
