Lille OSC has signed 18-year-old Cameroonian defender Stéphane Noumbissie from AS Dauphine FC on a contract lasting until 2029.

Known for his versatility and physical presence, the 1.90m-tall left-footed player has represented Cameroon at U17, U20, and U23 levels, catching the attention of European scouts with standout performances at the 2023 U17 Africa Cup of Nations.

Noumbissie, praised for his strength, tactical intelligence, and game awareness, will initially join Lille’s Pro 2 group to further develop.

Despite interest from other European clubs, he chose Lille for its strong reputation in nurturing young talent.

This signing highlights Lille’s commitment to investing in future stars and bolstering their squad for the years ahead.
