Stéphane Aziz Ki could be set to leave Wydad Casablanca just six months after joining the Moroccan club, with Libyan side Al Ittihad Tripoli reportedly making a $400,000 offer for the Burkinabe international.
The 26-year-old midfielder, whose contract with Wydad runs until 2027, has been identified by Al Ittihad as the creative presence they need to strengthen their midfield.
Sources indicate that negotiations are well advanced, with Wydad’s management reportedly receptive to the proposal.
Aziz Ki, formerly of Young Africans SC in Tanzania, is valued at around €300,000 and brings both experience and leadership to the middle of the park.
Al Ittihad is said to be seeking a midfielder capable of controlling games and immediately impacting results, a profile that aligns with the Burkinabe international.
Since arriving at Wydad Casablanca last summer, Ki has contributed to the team’s domestic campaign, but the prospect of a move to Libya suggests that both the player and club are considering a change of direction.
A transfer would allow Wydad to reorganize their midfield while providing Aziz Ki with a new challenge in the Libyan league.
The potential deal comes as Wydad Casablanca look to balance squad dynamics and prepare for the second half of the season, while Al Ittihad aims to secure reinforcements capable of elevating their title ambitions.
A final decision is expected once the clubs conclude discussions and personal terms with the player are agreed.
