The two parties have reportedly reached an agreement on a salary increase for the Belgian coach, as reported by L’Observateur and sports365. Paul Put led Burkina Faso to the final of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, achieving the team’s best performance in the history of the competition. Despite a slow start to the 2014 World Cup qualifiers, Burkina Faso is still in contention for the final round of the Africa zone qualifiers.
