A goalless draw was the verdict of the match between Tala’ea El-Gaish and their visitors Al-Dakhiliya, today on Tuesday, at the Military Sports Authority Stadium in Cairo, as part of the 15th round of the Egyptian Premier League.
The encounter witnessed a red card issued to Yasser Wahid, a player from Tala’ea El-Gaish, in the 54th minute after receiving his second yellow card.
Abdel Hamid Bassiouny, the head coach of Tala’ea El-Gaish, attempted to invigorate his attacking lineup through several substitutions, notably introducing Omar El-Saied and Kareem Tarek in the 65th minute, and later bringing in the young talent Mohamed Hani.
However, Al-Dakhiliya’s defense held firm under the guidance of their coach, Amr Hassan.
Tala’ea El-Gaish now stands at 20 points in the seventh position after 14 matches played, with one match postponed.
Meanwhile, Al-Dakhiliya’s tally increased to 9 points, placing them second from bottom in the 17th position, also from 14 matches played, with one match postponed.
